Clinical Information:

A recreational golf player complained of left 4th finger pain for one month. Physical examination showed tenderness over A1 pulley with grade 2 triggering noted.

Brief Description:

US examination showed slightly thickened A1 pulley with slight increase in vascularity. Some effusion is noted along the tendon sheath. Dynamic scanning shows bulging of the flexor tendon when it passes through the A1 pulley.
