Clinical Information:

Posterior ankle pain for 6 months, worse after hiking.

Brief Description:

US examination showed thickened, hypoechoic Achilles Tendon at its insertion to calcaneum, without neovascularization. Cortical irregularity and a tiny bone spur formation at the calcaneal insertion.
